Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project, is a European Investment Bank-assisted Project aimed at reducing vulnerability of Nigeria’s population to soil erosion and associated land degradation. 

Funded by the European Investment Bank (EIB), this project is committed to building Ekiti State’s resilience to climate change impacts and advancing sustainable land management. 

Ekiti State NEWMAP-EIB is located at NEWMAP-EIB Office, Phase V, State Secretariat, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria and headed by our amiable Dr. Akinyemi Akinyugha, the Project Coordinator.

• To enhance Ekiti State’s resilience to the impact of climate change. 

Mission 

• To reduce vulnerability to soil erosion and promote sustainable land management practices in targeted sub watershed in Ekiti State.
