Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project, is a World Bank-assisted Project aimed at reducing vulnerability of Nigeria’s population to soil erosion and and associated land degradation, funded by the European Investment Bank, NEWMAP-EIB, Nasarawa State is located at its temporary Office in the State Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, along Jos Road Lafia.
NEWMAP-EIB Nasarawa State is headed by Muhammad Ismaila, PhD.
Vision
• To promote Nasarawa State resilience to climate change impacts.
Mission:
• To contribute to Nasarawa State climate change adaptation and mitigation through the Watershed Management approach for sustainable development.
