Members of the NEWMAP-EIB Project Implementation Manual (PIM) Review Committee on Personnel Matters convened in Abuja on June 17th and 18th, 2026, for a two-day session aimed at strengthening the personnel provisions of the Project Implementation Manual.
Chaired by the FPMU Administrative Specialist, Gaji Abatcha, with Dr. Ubong Harrison, State Project Coordinator, Akwa Ibom, as Secretary, the Committee comprised selected State Project Coordinators drawn from across the participating states.
Deliberations centred on refining personnel-related policies and procedures to produce a more robust and practical document that supports effective and efficient project implementation nationwide.
The review session was further enriched by the presence of the National Project Coordinator, Engr. Anda Ayuba Yalaks, whose observations and contributions added valuable depth to the Committee’s work.
